The Profit and Loss account - Understanding profit v cashflow. Gross profit margins and overheads. 2. The Balance Sheet - What is the company worth. Understanding debtors and creditors. 3. Prepayments - What is a prepayment? What can be prepaid and how does it affect my profit. 4. Accruals - What is an accrual? What do we use accruals for and how does it affect my profit. 5. Work in Progress - How to value this figure. 6. Stock - How and what to value.
