The Training Association (WEST) helps businesses and individuals access practical, workplace-focused training across the region.
We arrange training across a wide range of subjects, from machinery and equipment operation to health and safety, first aid, land-based skills and professional development.
Working with a network of experienced instructors and training providers, we can arrange scheduled courses at training venues or, for many practical subjects, training directly at your premises.

We work with experienced instructors and recognised training and certification schemes to provide training that reflects current industry requirements, guidance and good practice.
Depending on the course, training and assessment may be delivered in accordance with requirements from organisations and schemes including UKRS, City & Guilds NPTC, BASIS and NRoSO.

More Than a Training Provider
As a training association, we support members with their ongoing training requirements, helping businesses plan ahead, identify suitable training and keep track of the skills their employees need.
Membership provides access to training support and services designed to make organising workplace training simpler.
Our History
In April 2022, The Training Association (WEST) merged with Ely & District Training Group, bringing the two organisations together and extending the training and support available to businesses across Ely and the surrounding area.
Former members of Ely & District Training Group now form part of The Training Association (WEST).
