The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely identify, assess and control risks associated with hazardous substances in accordance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical examples and workplace scenarios, delegates will develop an understanding of hazardous substances, COSHH risk assessments, exposure control measures, safe handling procedures and emergency arrangements. The course supports employers and employees in maintaining safe working environments and meeting their legal responsibilities under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations.

Training is delivered in line with the UK Rural Skills (UKRS) Course Standard, ensuring a structured, competence-based approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application relevant to the workplace.
