Description


A half day workshop for on the role of fertilisers in agriculture and the effect on the environment of their use. The aim of the workshop will be to give a general understanding of crop requirements, fertiliser materials, organic manures and application methods. The current regulations regarding nitrogen use, such as NVZ rules and N Max will be explained. The workshop will explore the ways by which we can prevent diffuse water pollution from fertilisers.
