Description
This course includes: Air - qualities for drying, Relationship of grain moisture to air, equilibrium moistures, Using air for drying, progress of drying, air need relative to drying requirements. Store preparation, cleanliness, controls, securing against contaminants, store loading, impact on drying performance. Drying strategies, humidity modification. Normally course includes visit to grain stores on site and look at any practical issues. Grain cooling and Instrumentation needs. Store records, safety and summarised pointers for successful drying / Assurance links.
