Description
The High Level Order Picker (Above 3,000mm) E2 course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely inspect, operate and manoeuvre high level order picking trucks with an operator platform height of above 3,000mm within the AITT E2 category, in accordance with current health and safety legislation, recognised industry best practice and the relevant AITT operator training standard.
Combining classroom-based learning with practical operator training, delegates will develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to carry out pre-use inspections, safely manoeuvre and position the truck, operate the elevating platform, undertake order picking activities at height, handle and transport loads and complete routine operator checks whilst minimising risks to themselves, pedestrians, other personnel and property.
Training is delivered in accordance with the relevant AITT operator training category, ensuring a structured, competence-based programme combining theoretical knowledge with practical workplace application. Training may be delivered at different levels depending on the delegate's previous experience, including novice, experienced operator, refresher or conversion training where appropriate.
