Description

The Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) - 1A Static Vertical (Personnel Lift) course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely inspect, operate and manoeuvre 1A static vertical Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), commonly referred to as personnel lifts, in accordance with current health and safety legislation, recognised industry best practice and the relevant AITT operator training standard.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical operator training, delegates will develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to carry out pre-use inspections, position and operate static vertical MEWPs safely, work at height effectively and undertake routine operator checks whilst minimising risks to themselves, other personnel and the surrounding environment.

Training is delivered in accordance with the relevant AITT operator training category, ensuring a structured, competence-based programme combining theoretical knowledge with practical workplace application.
