The Pest Control - Rats and Mice course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively manage rat and mouse infestations in accordance with current legislation, industry best practice and recognised professional standards.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical instruction, delegates will develop an understanding of rodent biology and behaviour, legal responsibilities, integrated pest management (IPM), site assessment, safe use of rodenticides, environmental protection and record keeping. The course includes the required end-of-course assessment, enabling successful delegates to achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Rodent Management.

This is a CRRU UK-approved training course. Successful completion provides proof of competence for the purchase and use of professional-use rodenticides in accordance with the current CRRU UK Rodenticide Stewardship Scheme and applicable legislation.

Assessment

Delegates complete the required theory assessment during the course. Successful completion of the assessment is required to achieve the nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Rodent Management.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, delegates will receive the Level 2 Award in Rodent Management.
