Description
Understanding what the client knows and what they need to know and explaining the difference between camera's and other photographic equipment to suit various budgets. How a camera works, Shutter speeds, apertures, light readings, histograms, file formats and all the dials, knobs and buttons. Explaining different types of lighting used for product photography from flash lighting from small camera flashes and remotes to studio lights with soft boxes, using available light and reflectors and the advantage of light tents and LED bulbs. Practical demonstrations on photographing products for the clients needs using basic and advanced equipment including a few tricks of the trade. How to get the images from the camera on to a computer or laptop what to save them as and discuss the appropriate retouching software.
