Description
The course has been designed to ensure that businesses are fully aware of all the implications of cross-compliance management and how it links in with care for the environment and essential soil protection. As well as theoretical management planning, the course will also involve a farm walk looking at the practical aspects of cross-compliance and how it actually works ‘on the ground’. The topics to be covered include: Margin management, both for Cross Compliance and ELS, Soil management, including requirements for Soil Protection Review, Public Rights of Way, Hedge management, NVZ requirements, Use of Crop Protection Products.
