The Professional Tree Inspection and Condition Assessment course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to inspect trees, assess their condition, identify defects and make informed management recommendations in accordance with current arboricultural best practice.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical field inspections, delegates will develop the knowledge and confidence required to identify tree species, recognise structural and physiological defects, assess tree health and vitality, evaluate potential hazards and accurately record inspection findings. The course promotes a systematic and evidence-based approach to tree inspection, supporting effective tree management, risk assessment and informed decision-making.

Entry Requirements

A basic understanding of arboriculture, tree biology or tree management is recommended. Delegates should be physically capable of undertaking outdoor practical activities over uneven terrain and possess a sufficient understanding of spoken and written English to fully participate in training and assessment.
