This annual monitoring aims to assess trainees’ knowledge, understanding and basic skills in the safe operation of forklift trucks. It assesses trainees on an annual basis to ensure their skills remain current with best practice in the maneuvering of the machine both laden and unladen, stacked and de-stacked at various levels, daily pre-shift checks, refueling procedures, hazards and risks involved with driving forklift trucks and to comply with health and safety legislation.
