The CIEH Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace course provides learners with the knowledge required to recognise workplace hazards, understand their legal responsibilities and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Combining tutor-led learning with practical examples and workplace scenarios, delegates will develop an understanding of health and safety legislation, hazard identification, risk control and safe working practices. Assessment
Delegates are assessed by means of a CIEH-approved multiple-choice examination, designed to confirm their understanding of workplace health and safety principles and safe working practices.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the assessment, delegates will receive the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (or current equivalent certification issued through the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the approved training centre).
This nationally recognised qualification demonstrates that the holder has achieved the required standard of knowledge in workplace health and safety.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Delegates should possess a sufficient understanding of spoken and written English to fully participate in training and complete the assessment.

Course duration will vary depending on the number of delegates attending and organisational requirements. Training is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully complete the CIEH Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification.
