The Emergency First Aid at Work + F (Forestry First Aid) course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond to common workplace emergencies, with additional first aid content relevant to forestry and other remote or outdoor working environments.

The course covers the core principles of emergency first aid at work alongside additional considerations associated with forestry operations, including severe bleeding, crush injuries, hypothermia and incidents where access to emergency medical assistance may be delayed.

Course Delivery

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment requirements, learners will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate incorporating the additional Forestry First Aid (+F) content.

The course includes additional first aid topics relevant to those working in forestry and similar remote or outdoor environments.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Learners must be physically able to participate in the practical elements of the training, including activities undertaken at floor level such as CPR and casualty positioning.
