Description
This course is designed for employees who want to develop their personal resilience and improve their ability to respond constructively to change, challenges and setbacks in both their working and personal lives. The course introduces the principles of resilience and explores how patterns of negative thinking can affect confidence and performance. Learners consider approaches for recognising and assessing negative thought patterns, developing more positive ways of thinking and maintaining perspective when faced with difficult or unexpected situations. The course also introduces practical habits that can help build resilience over time, including developing a growth mindset, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, building supportive relationships, setting SMART goals, increasing mental flexibility and developing self-confidence. It supports learners in recognising that resilience can be developed through everyday behaviours and in adopting practical approaches to managing challenges, learning from setbacks and adapting to change.
