The course introduces the principles of equal opportunity and considers the responsibilities managers have for ensuring employment decisions and workplace practices are fair, objective and based on merit rather than stereotypes or discriminatory beliefs. It explores the importance of professional behaviour, consistent decision-making and creating a working environment that supports equality and respects individual differences.
