Description

The Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) - 3A Mobile Vertical (Scissor Lift) course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely inspect, operate and manoeuvre 3A mobile vertical Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), commonly referred to as scissor lifts, in accordance with current health and safety legislation, recognised industry best practice and the relevant AITT operator training standard.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical operator training, delegates will develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to carry out pre-use inspections, safely operate mobile vertical MEWPs, travel whilst elevated where appropriate, work safely at height and undertake routine operator checks whilst minimising risks to themselves, other personnel and the surrounding environment.
