Description


The NRoSO Annual Update course enables registered members of the National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO) to maintain their continuing professional development (CPD) by completing an approved annual update event.

Each year, the course content is developed around the current NRoSO syllabus and focuses on topical issues affecting professional pesticide users. Subjects may include changes to legislation, application technology, environmental protection, stewardship initiatives, integrated pest management (IPM), operator safety, equipment developments and current best practice. As the syllabus is reviewed annually, course content will vary from year to year to ensure delegates receive the latest industry guidance and information.

Assessment

Assessment requirements are determined by the approved NRoSO Annual Update programme for the relevant year. Delegates are expected to actively participate throughout the course and meet any attendance or assessment requirements specified for the annual update event.


Certification

Upon successful completion of the approved NRoSO Annual Update, delegates will receive the appropriate NRoSO Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for that year's programme in accordance with current NRoSO requirements.


Entry Requirements

Delegates should be registered members of the National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO) or be intending to register. Delegates should possess a sufficient understanding of spoken and written English to fully participate in the course.

Course duration is determined by the approved NRoSO Annual Update programme for the relevant year. As the syllabus and topics are reviewed annually, the duration and content may vary to reflect current industry priorities and NRoSO requirements.
