This 1 day course is aimed at those who want to learn a bit more about plumbing, ideal if you are involved with maintaining farm cottages. It will look at the following areas: Basic tools needed to do those plumbing jobs, Fixing leaks on both mains pipes & copper pipes, Cutting, bending and soldering copper pipe, both 15mm and 22mm., Working with different kinds of pipe fittings, such as solder, compression, push-fit and flexible connectors, Where and how to use traps, isolation valves, non-return valves, stop-cocks drain-off valves etc.
