Description
This course is designed for managers, supervisors, HR professionals and others who may be responsible for developing or supporting an employee recognition programme within their organisation. The course introduces the principles and benefits of employee recognition and considers different approaches, including verbal and written recognition, rewards, peer-to-peer recognition, employee appreciation initiatives, wellbeing initiatives and development opportunities. It explores how effective recognition can support employee engagement, morale, retention, collaboration and performance. The course also provides a structured approach to designing and implementing an employee recognition programme, including establishing goals and budgets, assessing organisational needs, developing recognition criteria and processes, promoting participation and launching the programme.
