The Overhead Power Lines - Safety Awareness for Farmers course provides learners with the knowledge required to recognise the hazards associated with overhead power lines during agricultural activities and to work safely in accordance with current industry best practice and relevant health and safety legislation.

Designed specifically for farmers, farm workers and agricultural contractors, the course combines classroom-based learning with practical examples and real-life scenarios to develop an understanding of the risks associated with overhead power lines when operating agricultural machinery, handling equipment, transporting loads and carrying out field operations.

Training is delivered in line with the UK Rural Skills (UKRS) Course Standard, providing delegates with the knowledge and awareness required to identify hazards, assess risks and adopt safe working practices when working near overhead power lines.
