Description
This training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in administering first aid effectively to children and infants in line with current practices and meets Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements. This two day Paediatric First Aid training course is designed for people who care for infants and children, including day nurseries, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children, childminders, nannies and carers of children at home. It introduces trainees to the application of first aid to children and infants in emergency situations and to respond promptly and appropriately to a range of situations and incidents in order to preserve life and protect casualties until specialist aid is available. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
