Description

The Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) Face Fit Testing course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to correctly select, fit and carry out face fit testing of tight-fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) in accordance with current health and safety legislation, HSE guidance and recognised industry best practice.

Combining classroom-based learning with practical demonstrations and hands-on testing, delegates will develop the knowledge and confidence required to understand the principles of respiratory protection, recognise the importance of achieving an effective face seal, carry out face fit testing using recognised qualitative and quantitative methods, and maintain appropriate records. The course supports employers in ensuring that suitable RPE is correctly fitted and provides the intended level of protection for the wearer.
